Two-time finalists The Netherlands beat Japan 1-0 here on Saturday in their World Cup Group E match.
A goal by Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder saw the Dutch to their second successive victory and a draw later on Saturday between Denmark and Cameroon would see the Dutch qualify for the second round.

A draw would also suit the Japanese, who have three points after an opening 1-0 defeat of Cameroon.
